About the Practitioner

Education and Background

My massage therapy career began in 2002 when I graduated from the Universal School of Massage in Savoy, IL. In 2004 I received a second massage therapy certificate from Summit Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Over the duration of my massage therapy career I've held various state licenses and certifications. I was licensed by the State of Florida (MA41305) from 2004 through 2011, and by the State of Maine (MT3228) from 2006 through 2010.

I was nationally certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (now defunct) from 2003 through 2011. More recently I have been a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals since 2013.

I have been licensed by the State of Alaska (#101538) since 2015, when Alaska state licensing initially went into effect.

Variety of Experience

Prior to running my own business, I gained experience at a range of massage establishments including a chiropractor's office, a large spa, and as a volunteer for a non-profit organization offering complimentary massage to individuals diagnosed with terminal illness.

Personalized Service in a Professional Office Setting

I have a client-centered approach to massage therapy. I strive to listen carefully to what your goals are for each and every visit, then customize every session accordingly to accommodate your preferences and to keep you comfortable. Please contact me to discuss how I can help facilitate the professional therapeutic massage experience you are looking for.

I look forward to working with you!
