An Alternative to Gift Certificates

The honest truth is that massage gift certificates sometimes don't get used, which is terrible because they're expensive. So I don't sell them.

If you'd like to gift someone with a massage, I will take your credit card info as a place holder to secure the gift, but I won't charge the card on file (or collect any other form of payment) until after the gift appointment has concluded.

I will check back in with you the gift giver as soon as I hear from your recipient. At that time we could make arrangements for a different form of payment (Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, check, cash, etc.) if preferred over the held credit card info. Or if you're unavailable at the time of booking and I don't receive any response, then I will go ahead and charge the held credit card at the conclusion of the gift massage appointment.

Please note that gift massages may not be redeemed for several years, therefore the current rates at the time of redemption will apply (rather than the rates that were in place at the time of gift arrangement, if different).

Please let me know who the recipient is and how long of a massage you'd like to give them. Please let them know about your gift, and tell them to contact me to book their gift appointment. I'd be happy to mail my business card to the recipient with a note about your gift, or I can send them an email with my contact info (or both).

This way they won't have to worry about losing a document or minding an expiration date, and there's no chance that any prepaid money could go to waste if they never do end up making the appointment (which happens sometimes).
